I’m Kyle Corkill

Kansas City, Missouri Based Wedding Filmmaker

My name is Kyle Corkill and I’m currently a sophomore at the University of Arkansas, (Woo Pig). I grew up in and graduated high school from Smithville Missouri, only 10 minutes north of Kansas City, Missouri. My freshman year of high school I was gifted a GoPro for my 15th birthday so I could film our yearly ski trips. I immediately fell in love with the process of creating videos so I started filming every crazy thing my brothers and I did. I eventually upgraded to a DSLR and started filming hype videos for my high school football team. These short films were seen by the thousands of people. As a high school student, this was an awesome feeling - to make something that thousands of people enjoyed. This would lead me to filming my first wedding in October of 2020 when a family friend asked me to capture their wedding day. In less than two years following that first wedding, I have filmed and created memories for over 20 couples on their wedding day.

My 2nd shooter is my younger brother Ben. We were born rivals that grew up best friends, now turned business partners. Having a brother 18 months younger than you is one of the best gifts possible, not only did I have a best friend growing up, but I had a partner in crime. He’s not just a colleague; he’s my best friend, making the journey of business not only successful but also incredibly fun. Ben is currently a student pilot working on his private pilots licenses.
